Having discussed the bills, Committee members deem it inadmissible to reduce
expenditures of the 2014 State Budget on financing the security and defense
sector, suggested by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Following the results of consideration, the Committee took the decision to deem it inadmissible to cut on expenditures of the Defence Ministry, the Security Service of Ukraine, administration of the State Border Guard Service, MIA Internal Military Forces Central Department, Special State Transportation Service, Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Administration of State Guard of Ukraine, Foreign Intelligence Service and administration of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection.
The people’s deputies suggest that the Cabinet of Ministers should withdraw the proposals on liquidation of provisions pertaining to socio-legal protection of military men.
